Endovenous Ablation

Endovenous Ablation is a minimally invasive procedure performed in the office. It usually takes 30-45 minutes. During this procedure, a catheter is inserted into the target vein. As the catheter is slowly withdrawn, the vein is permanently closed. This decreases the pressure on the surface veins making subsequent Sclerotherapy more effective. Published clinical studies show that Endovenous Ablation has a 98% initial success rate with excellent long-term results.

I was referred to Dr. Muhs from a lower extremity specialist regarding an injury I had to my foot and ankle. We needed to determine if there were any circulation issues. Dr. Muhs was very thorough and kind. Quite knowledgeable in his field! His staff is also wonderful and caring. I highly recommend this practice.
